The apocalyptic event known as the Reset took place five years ago... In the span of a few seconds, ninety percent of the world's population was killed by a mysterious alien force. The ten percent left had their memories wiped. They were given incredible superpowers and a LitRPG stat system that allowed them to advance their skills. But they lost a lot of technology in the process. Many lost their humanity. Sterling Monedero was one of these survivors.

Publisher's summary
In this thrilling collection of the four Cowboy Necromancer novellas, Sterling and the Sunflower Kid traverse the post-apocalyptic Southwest, a land overshadowed by the enigmatic Godwalkers.
From Arizona's brutal deserts to the chaotic streets of New Orleans, this collection of four novellas sees Sterling and the Sunflower Kid battling supernatural foes and extraterrestrial threats in a world scarred by the Reset.
Their journey takes a dangerous turn in California, magnetized by a powerful vortex of forbidden energy. Here, Sterling must not only restore his dwindling powers, but also outmaneuver a web of treachery and danger. The looming menace of the Godwalkers tests their every move, with each decision echoing through this fractured world.
The saga culminates in a gripping standoff in California, where Sterling faces a harrowing choice: vanquish the Godwalkers and risk losing their powers, or let the alien terrors reign supreme. This final battle, set against a backdrop of intrigue and human courage, seals a story of survival, grit, and the intricate dance of politics in a world reborn from ashes.
Can Sterling and the Sunflower Kid defy the odds and save a world on the brink?
Immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind LitRPG western set in the post-apocalyptic Southwest inspired by The Dark Tower, Old Man Logan, and Red Dead Redemption. Expect classes, leveling, and skill trees that will feel familiar to any fan of role-playing games or the GameLit genre. Add to that a heavily researched series that blends Southwest mysticism with high tech and dangerous monsters, all in a setting big enough for the Grand Canyon.
Cowboy Necromancer is a story unlike any you've heard in the genre, one that blends languages, culture, action, true history, and suspense as Sterling and his team of superpowereds try to stop alien monoliths from destroying what is left of humanity.

Story
Long before the world of man, demons and demigods battled for dominance. After the demons were finally bound in the Well of Sacrifice, the system of good and evil became tentatively balanced. Now that balance is threatened.
Marked at birth by the gods, Renn and Avaris set in motion an ancient prophecy that promises to shift the balance of power, so dark forces will rule unchecked. With armies and a host of magic users at his command, the Grand Warlock, Khan Devin, is determined to use the boys to fix his place as the unchallenged ruler of man.

Story
The Revelation: A name given to an event that, five years ago, changed the world forever. In a single day, humanity discovered that not only were they not alone, but they were not exactly at the top of the food chain. Living in the shadows for millennia, supernaturals now had no choice but to finally come into the light. Because of the fury of a mad god, humans and supernaturals now had to learn to coexist side by side for the first time in living memory. With the revelation that magic was not only real but far more common than fairy tales led them to believe, a new society had to be born.

Story
Dominic's world had been a fairly simple life. To live his life to the best of his abilities, gain experience, level up, and strive to enjoy himself as best he could in a backwater. Which, while tough on its own, was made infinitely harder by his father being the local executioner. All of that becomes infinitely worse when his entire family is murdered. Dominic is then thrust into a war between noble houses that had been put on hold for generations. A war that the royal family lost, and now only had one true heir and claimant: Dominic Randolph.

Sixty-seven years ago the Qash'vo'tar conquered Earth. Ever since then, the aliens had ruled from above. The Qash'vo'tar did not care what humanity did on the ground, as long as they didn't attempt to build anything that could get them to the stars. A beautiful finish to a wonderful series
I love Harmon Cooper, and I love Cowboy Necromancer. No doubt my favorite series, this book was a lovely finale.
I’m sorry that the story ends here, and sad that it had to end in some of the ways it did, however the ending was fitting and ultimately perfect for this storyline.
Don’t miss this final saga of Cowboy Necromancer, where all the remaining pieces get tied up with a ribbon.
I’ll be sorry to say goodbye to these delightful characters, but I’ll be back to listen to them again soon.
Thank you Harmon Cooper for blessing us with this series, and thank you to MacLeod Andrews for bringing it to life so incredibly.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
