Story
Knowledge is power. That would be the motto of Lander University, had it not been snatched up and used to death by others long before the school was founded. For while Lander offers a full range of courses to nearly all students, it also offers a small number of specialty classes to a very select few. Lander is home to the Hero Certification Program, a curriculum designed to develop students with superhuman capabilities, commonly known as Supers, into official Heroes.

Story
Gifted with meta-human powers, Tori Rivas kept away from the limelight, preferring to work as a thief in the shadows. But when she's captured trying to rob a vault that belongs to a secret guild of villains, she's offered a hard choice: prove she has what it takes to join them or be eliminated. Apprenticed to one of the world's most powerful (and supposedly dead) villains, she is thrust into a strange world where the lines that divide superheroes and criminals are more complex than they seem.

Story
Hey, hey, book lovers, take off those big thick glasses - this is Deadpool speaking! Sorry Marvel, somethin' happened to your copy guy. Anyway, this is my first prose novel, and they got this dude Stefan Petrucha to write it. He's good people. He's written novels and comics. But here's the thing: This book is about dogs. Dogs that turn into big nasty monsters. And then I gotta kill 'em. Thing is, I like killing people - the ones that deserve it, anyway - but I won't kill dogs. So that's what we call a character dilemma.

Publisher's summary
Graphic Audio ORIGINALS presents a Science Fiction Trilogy with a Superhero Theme.
Set roughly half a century in the future on the artificial-island arcology of New Avalon, Tangent Knights centers on Corazón “Cory” Kagami, a bright but impulsive college student who believes in following her passions, resisting the path laid out for her by her mother, the head of a tech conglomerate responsible for astonishing breakthroughs. When Cory is accidentally imbued with an extraordinary powerful “phase armor” during a botched experiment, she defies the expectations of those who underestimated her and readily embraces a superheroic role as Tangent Knight Caprice. Over the course of the trilogy, she breaks through into new worlds and unlocks progressively greater powers, perhaps faster than her judgment can keep up, to the point that Cory herself becomes the ultimate threat her allies must confront.
Performed by Richard Rohan, Elaine Yuko Qualter, Bianca Bryan, John Kielty, Tony Nam, Daniel Llaca, Yesenia Iglesias, Emilea Wilson, Duyen Washington, Kay Eluvian, Nazia Chauhdry, Niusha Nawab, Marni Penning, Rob McFadyen, Robb Moreira, and Triya Leong.

The entire cast and humor make a great listen
Cast give a 5 star performance. I laughed and smirked as the story unfolded in the first book so it's 5 star. The second and third book are good but not great, so it's a 4 star rating. They didn't have as much humor and a few minor issues with on of the characters. If you don't find parts of story funny it will likely be just an average book. A hint, (no spoilers), to the kind of humor I found and enjoyed: Superhero humor like you would find in Deadpool II but more subtle with a anime flavor.
