SB Cubs lost to Quad Cities 13-4. The Cubs were scoreless for seven innings. During the eighth inning, the Cubs got their first run with a homer from Pedro Ramirez. Then in the ninth, the Cubs got a double with Rafael Morel and Dilan Granadillo got his first homer, which brought the Cubs to four runs. The final game in the QC series is tomorrow afternoon. First pitch is at 2 PM.

Three game winning streak! Three South Bend Cubs had home runs tonight, Brian Kalmer hit first of his season in first inning, Ethan Hearn homered in the 4th and last home run of night went to Jonathon Long who hit 4th homer of season in top of the 7th inning. South Bend Cubs defeated the Quad Cities River Bandits 9 to 3. Starting pitcher Drew Gray had a nice outing gave up one run and striking out five in little over 4 inning pitched. Will Sanders pitched four innings and earned a save in the game.
